Youth Home’s The Next Course: Menu Reveal

Youth Home hosts its annual foodie fundraiser, The Next Course, at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library on November 3rd. This unique, culinary dining experience welcomes amateur and practiced foodies to five course dinner complete with professional chefs’ tips and instruction on how to prepare the next course.

Guests take home a book of the night’s recipes to recreate their favorite dishes. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a reception featuring wine, beer and hors d’oeuvres – followed by a formal dinner.

In preparation + anticipation of this delicious event, we are offering an exclusive sneak peek at the five course menu for the evening – hosted (and prepared) by Gilbert Alaquinez, Shane Henderson, Jamie McAfee, Jordan Williams, and Kelli Marks!

This unique and carefully curated dining experience begins with a First Course by Ben E. Keith Foods Executive Chef Shane Henderson.
He will prepare Chicken Fried Oysters with Green Apple Mignonette

Clinton Presidential Library Sous Chef Jordan Williams will prepare the second course:
Confit Quail with Brie, Arugula, and Beetberry Jam

Pine Bluff Country Club Executive Chef Jamie McAfee will prepare the third course:
Grilled Marinated Duck Breast

Clinton Presidential Library Executive Chef Gilbert Alaquinez will prepare the fourth course:
Sunday Pot Roast “Southern Style”

To conclude the meal and satisfy your sweet tooth, Sweet Love Catering Executive Pastry Chef Kelli Marks will prepare the fifth course:

The culinary talent and innovation displayed by these chefs is off the charts, and the food will be equally impressive. We hope your mouths are watering just as much as ours are!

Proceeds from this event will create therapeutic comfort rooms for the teens in Youth Home’s Residential Treatment Program. These specially designed spaces are valuable tools for teaching self-calming skills and decreasing agitation and aggression through visual, auditory, olfactory, and tactile stimuli.

Tickets are only $125 and the seating is limited – purchase yours here!
