ARKANSAS UROLOGY: 16th Annual Kickoff to Men’s Health

Men are invited to the 16th annual Kickoff to Men’s Health event on Tuesday, Sept. 1, from 5-8 p.m., to receive a free, potentially lifesaving, preventative health screening. This event is hosted by Arkansas Urology in observance of National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and will be held at Arkansas Urology’s Little Rock campus, located at 1300 Centerview Drive.

Each man will receive a free prostate cancer health screening, including a combination PSA-DRE prostate exam and a testosterone exam. Arkansas Urology will also give away prizes, such as gift cards to local restaurants and retail stores.

Arkansas Urology is working with the Arkansas Department of Health to ensure  proper COVID-19 precautions are in place for this year’s Kickoff to Men’s Health. When patients arrive at the event, they will be asked to remain in their vehicle to be screened for COVID-19. All patients will receive a temperature check and questionnaire. In order to practice safe social distancing, staff will check in patients via an online portal and patients will be instructed to remain in their car until they are notified to come in for their prostate cancer screening. Upon entering Arkansas Urology, each patient will be required to practice social distancing, as well as wear a mask.
