Reception + Film Screening Honoring Broncho Billy Anderson

The Historic Arkansas Museum (HAM), a division of the Department of Arkansas Heritage, will celebrate the 138th birthday of Arkansas-born Film Pioneer Broncho Billy Anderson, a pioneer producer, actor and director, with a reception and film screening of The Great Train Robbery, in which he made an appearance, on its campus. David and Rena Kiehn, experts in silent film, will give a presentation before the film. Prior to the 7 p.m. reception + screening, there will be a marker inauguration at the location of Anderson’s birth, 713 Center St. (now the site of First United Methodist Church), at 6:30.
