SAINT MARK’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH: An Evening with Shea Tuttle

Shea Tuttle, author of Exactly As You Are: The Life and Faith of Mister Rogers, will speak at Saint Mark’s on Thursday, April 23 at 6:30 pm.  In her book, Shea Tuttle looks at Fred Rogers’ life, the people and places that made him who he was, and his work through Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. Fred Rogers fiercely believed that all people deserve love, and it came directly from his Christian faith. God, he insisted, loves us just as we are. Tuttle also talks about the neighborhood he came from, the neighborhood he built, and the kind of neighbor he, by his example, calls all of us to be. A reception will follow the author’s talk and includes a book sale and signing. POSTPONED UNTIL FALL
