Pan-Asian Theme Helps Ring in the
New Year at Zoo Years Eve

The Little Rock Zoo and the Arkansas Zoological Foundation are pleased to announce plans for this year's Zoo Year's Eve celebration sponsored again by Ellis Infiniti.

Guests of this year's event will have the good fortune to dance and dine in the transformed space of Café Africa set to look like an exotic big city nightclub with Asian Indian décor. Donated lounge style furniture donated by IO Metro will accent the event space along with an array of beautifully colored fabrics in bright pinks, reds, oranges, and gold.

Guests will lounge to nightclub style "chill" music from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will dance to the tunes of Little Rock's favorite cover band, The Getty's, as the New Year rings in. Food items from more than 20 area restaurants will be served at Zoo Year's Eve along with an exciting array of beverages.

A live auction featuring a painting by Ellen the elephant, a VIP Giraffe Feeding and Birthday Party, along with several other great items, will make this year's event truly unique.

This year's event is presented by Ellis Infiniti with Alltel serving as this year's "Pachyderm Pack" sponsor. Charles Schwab serves as the "Meerkat Mention" sponsor.

Dress is black tie optional and tickets are $100 per person. Golf carts will be available to escort party-goers from the Zoo's main entrance to Café Africa and back.
