Aldersgate After Dark Live

Guest Blog by Hanna French

Camp Aldersgate will host Aldersgate After Dark Live on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. This fundraiser will enrich the lives of children and youth with medical or physical special needs and their families – as well as senior adults – through educational and recreational opportunities in a camp environment.

The experience of Aldersgate After Dark Live will include a night of entertainment by The Cutting Edge Dueling Pianos to duel it out and raise money for the campers and senior adults of Camp Aldersgate. Hors d’oeuvres and libations will be served, and guests will be able to bid on an upscale silent auction. For further event information please contact Hanna French, Events & Marketing Coordinator, by phone, 501.225.1444 or by email, hfrench@campaldersgate.net. Tickets are $75 and can be purchased by contacting Hanna or on our website at campaldersgate.net/AAD-Live.

Camp Aldersgate is dedicated to providing year-round social service programs for more than 1,700 individuals of all ages and backgrounds. With the support of our surrounding communities, businesses and friends, we are able to provide the best possible atmosphere, equipment and facilities for our extraordinary participants. Campers are given the opportunity to participate in canoeing, fishing, archery, an adventure challenge course which features a fully-accessible zip line, nature activities, arts and crafts (including leather stamping and wood burning!), pool time and many more accessible and fun activities. Camp Aldersgate is one of eight camps in Arkansas accredited by the American Camp Association and continues to be the only camp of its kind in Arkansas designed for children with disabilities.
