Back for its third year, CareLink’s signature event Cupcakes for Goodness Sake is taking it to the streets!
This year, the creative folks at CareLink are transforming the event into a whimsical + unique street festival.
“It’s quite the departure from the indoor, seated events of the past,” says Vice President of Development, Randi Metcalf. “This year’s changes give us an exciting opportunity for more community involvement, a broad audience and, most importantly, more cupcakes! We’re talking 4,800 cupcakes!” A unique combo of cupcake competition and street fest, the 3rd Annual Cupcakes for Goodness Sake features farmers’ market-themed sweets from amateur and professional bakers, as well as local vendors, food trucks, live music and more!
Set in the late afternoon/early evening, the cupcake festival offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a family affair or date night. “We’ve kept the best aspects from the past two years – the fun themes, the attention to detail and the distinctive atmosphere – while opening the event up to a larger audience.”
A step up from the average street fest, Cupcakes aims to create a true experience. “Our hope is that guests will enjoy a stroll through the charming streets of Argenta, sample fresh cupcakes, shop the many local vendors and then stick around for food truck treats, live music and more!”

Cupcakes for Goodness Sake raises funds and friends for CareLink and brings awareness to the critical needs of older people in the Central Arkansas community. Event proceeds go directly to programs like Meals on Wheels and Urgent Needs that help seniors remain independent and in their own homes as long as possible.
