Festival of Fashion: Bell & Sward’s Erik Sward

CARTI’s Festival of Trees is a beloved holiday tradition for families in Arkansas. The festivities – including the Sugar Plum Ball, Festival After Dark, Festival of Fashion and Tux ‘N Trees – celebrate the resilient spirit of cancer survivors and the holistic services CARTI provides. In anticipation of the Festival of Fashion extravaganza, we’re sharing insight from a few of the Central Arkansas boutiques – that share a commitment to our community and the CARTI mission of improved patient care – featured in this New York Fashion Week-style runway show.

Inviting Arkansas: What makes your boutique special?

Erik Sward: We pride ourselves on customer service. We feel that is what sets us apart from the big box stores. We also work tirelessly to find new lines that are of great quality and value for our customers. We are always trying to introduce new things to the market.

IA: Must-have accessory?

ES: I love a beautiful Alligator Belt. It is just timeless and classy.

IA: Season essential?

ES: My favorite item for the fall/winter is a vest. Peter Millar and Barbour make terrific vests.

IA: Why CARTI Festival of Fashion?

ES: First, CARTI is such a wonderful organization and touches many of our lives whether we know it or not. Second, the Festival of Fashion is a lot of fun, probably my favorite event of the year in Central Arkansas.
