Looking for something a little different to give Mom? You might find that special something at the upcoming South Main Vintage Market – an open-air market overflowing with vintage, antique and up cycled/recycled items. The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, just in time for Mother’s Day. Held in the Bernice Garden, the market features more than 25 vendors.
This true vintage extravaganza offers items that are only 20 years old or older. Many mid-century modern pieces, from furniture to kitchenware to clothing and more will be on display. It would be hard not to find something for your mom – or maybe even something she used when you were a child.
Southern Salt Food Company will serve breakfast and lunch from opening until closing out of their food truck. Loblolly Creamery will serve handcrafted frozen treats, lavender lemonade and Garden Press juices.
The South Main Vintage Market is held each month through October. Each month offers a treasure hunt and trip down memory lane. Other market dates are June 14, July 12, Aug. 9, Sept. 13 and Oct. 11.
