Holiday House expands to include Premier Friday Night event with Lost Forty Brewery craft pours!

New this year is Holiday House’s evening event, Jingle and Mingle, presented by Lumber One Home Center on Friday, November 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. Lost Forty Brewery will provide a selection of sampling pours including the new winter seasonal Milk Stout “Forest Queen,” “The Hunter” Octoberfest and a triple barrel-aged Imperial Stout “Nighty Night.” Patrons will have the opportunity to purchase craft beer, as well as holiday gift merchandise from the Lost Forty Pop-Up Shop such as original beer-themed artwork, flannel pajama pants, wool socks, sticker packs and more.

The event will include live music by David Downs and other talented musicians, award-winning barbeque from Whole Hog Cafe-North Little Rock, savory meat and cheese boards from Boulevard Bread Company and The Pantry Crest, and delectable desserts from Le Pops, Whimsy Cookie Co. and Nothing Bundt Cakes. One lucky shopper will receive a YETI cooler donated by Lumber One Home Center during the event.

Holiday House 2017 is presented by Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH) and will be held Nov. 8-11 at the Statehouse Convention Center. This year, shoppers are encouraged to donate a toy for ACH’s Holiday Toy Drive. Also, in appreciation of their service, all Military Veterans will receive 50 percent off general admission all day on November 10 with a military ID.  Also new this year is our Nursing Nook; a comfortable, quiet, private, space for breastfeeding mothers who want to support Holiday House and care for their small children. This is made possible by our partnership with Healthy Active Arkansas.

Approximately 14,000 shoppers visit Holiday House to start the holiday season with over 150 artisan gifts, jewelry, art, gourmet food and clothing vendors. Special events and general admission are all ticketed events. For ticket prices, event times, shopping hours and merchant lists, visit www.jllr.org/holiday-house.

For 27 years, Holiday House has collectively raised over $5 million to fund the JLLR’s community projects including Stuff the Bus, Nightingales, LYFE, Kota Camp and Boosters & Big Rigs. More than 60 percent of all funding for the JLLR is generated by Holiday House.
