Methodist Family Health Walk for Children and Families

The festive, family-friendly Walk for Children and Families is happening this Friday. The 9th annual event – benefiting Methodist Family Health – invites people of all ages to come walk over the Big Dam Bridge and back or any distance they wish. In the past, the event has drawn more than 800 participants. Registration opens at 5:30 p.m. with the walk starting at 6:30.

Cook’s Landing Park on the North Little Rock side of the bridge is the staging area for the event. Cost is $20 for individuals and $50 for families. Participants are encouraged to register online in advance. The fun event will features live music, free pizza and Frosty Treats ice cream and T-shirts for all participants. Parking will be available at Crystal Hill Elementary School with a free shuttle to the Big Dam Bridge.

Methodist Family Health provides comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral healthcare to children and families in Arkansas.
