Deanna Karlheim is the daughter of Susan and David Karlheim of Clarksville, Maryland. Colton Stanton is the son of April and Jay Stanton of Columbus, Nebraska. Deanna is a dancer with Ballet Arkansas and Colton works as a design engineer at Dassault Falcon Jet. The newlyweds reside in Little Rock with Bubs, their puppy – rescued from Little Rock Animal Services. The couple married on National Dance Day.
The First Encounter:
“It wasn’t long before I knew I wanted to do anything to know her more and more every day. The first time I told her I loved her, I thought it was WAY too soon, but I had felt like telling her for so long.” – Colton
“When I took a step inside, I turned and saw balloons that said Marry Me without a question mark. Then from behind a curtain across the hallway, my cute puppy came rushing into the middle of things, as per usual.” – Deanna
The Big Day:
We took a moment together in prayer and thanked God for bringing us together for a lifetime. Dancer friends prepared a surprise performance – they traveled for the wedding, and the performance was the greatest gift.
The Anthony Chapel at Garvan Woodland Gardens showcased our love for each other and our commitment to God. The doors opened to our perfect wedding day with family and friends who came to Hot Springs to celebrate with us.
