WHY YOU SHOULD KNOW HER
Jules Fletcher believes nothing is impossible. As her role model Audrey Hepburn notes, “the word itself says ‘I’m possible.’” Equipped with this perspective and a heart for others, Jules Fletcher has been a fervent ambassador for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas for the past three years. She utilized her platform as Miss Teen Arkansas International and Miss Teen International to raise awareness and support for the organization’s mission.
THIS CHARITY THAT “CAPTURED HER HEART” her sophomore year of high school offers a “home away from home” for families with children receiving treatment in area hospitals. Delta Beta Sigma, Jules’ national high school sorority, introduced her to RMHC. “I was very involved in the fundraising for our local chapter. We collected pop tabs, pantry items, held a 5K Fun Run and raised over $5,500 for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas,” Jules explains. “I participated in the Scramble with Scottie Pippen Charity Golf Tournament and the Pleasant Valley Charity Golf Tournament as well as the Chocolate Fantasy Ball. I also participated in Pop Tab Pandemonium and have collected over 150 gallons of pop tabs with the help of local schools, businesses, individuals and even the federal prison in my community.”
HER PAGEANT EXPERIENCE offered a platform for her to promote RMHC enthusiastically. “I can honestly say I don’t know what my life would be if I never entered the Miss Teen Arkansas International pageant.” Jules adds, “I wouldn’t trade that experience for the world. I met so many amazing people and made wonderful connections with organizations that I will hopefully continue to work with in the future.”
IN ADDITION TO RMHC, through her sorority Delta Beta Sigma Jules has been an ardent advocate for Wounded Warrior Project and Prevent Child Abuse America, speaking to elementary students and hosting charity fashion shows. “Delta Beta Sigma has been a huge part of my life, and I’m so thankful for this sisterhood and all that it does to make the world a better place.” Through her heartfelt commitment to various organizations, Jules has been instrumental in generating approximately $30,000 and continues to improve the welfare of fellow Arkansans.
