Strawberries! Strawberries! What’s not to love about this HEART-shaped fruit?

Strawberries are packed with amazing health benefits including improved eye health and proper brain function as well as relief from high blood pressure, arthritis, gout, and heart diseases. Strawberry leaves can be eaten raw or cooked and can even used to make delicious tea.

Strawberries contain vitamins C and K, folate, potassium and magnesium. They are a low-calorie, fiber-rich fruits providing an abundance of antioxidants and polyphenols.

Here’s a recipe your mind + body will LOVE:

Strawberry Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

1 cup of fresh strawberries

3 frozen bananas

1 tablespoon of coconut cream

Directions

Combine fresh strawberries, three frozen bananas and coconut cream in a blender

Blend, taste and adjust to desired taste.

Pour into a bowl

Add toppings: Go topping crazy with cacao nibs, chocolate chips, almonds, or fresh cut strawberries
