Miracle Ball

Miracle Ball served as the official public kick-off for all centennial celebration activities for Arkansas Children's Hospital. The black-tie event, chaired by Ginger and Thomas Blackmon, was attended by more than 500 donors and friends of the hospital, and raised more than $500,000 for ACH. A special cake made by Shelby Lynn's Cake Shoppe was presented to the hospital by IBERIABANK. The inedible decorative cake will be displayed in the hospital throughout the year.

Woman of the Year

The Peabody's Grand Ballroom was transformed into a winter wonderland for the annual gala benefiting Women & Children First. Linda Gleason received the high honor of Woman of the Year during the event for her philanthropic support of the organization, which helps women affected by domestic abuse build new lives. About $300,000 was raised during the black-tie affair, making it the most successful Woman of the Year and Women & Children First event to date!
