On the Cover: Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson

On the day of our visit, Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson were playing their real life roles of a happy couple. They were excited to be in their home away from home, visiting family and enjoying a break from Ted's role as the self-made billionaire Arthur Frobisher on the FX legal drama Damages and Mary's role as Nancy, the mother of Will Ferrell in the summer movie, Step Brothers. Our conversation didn't encompass the Hollywood scene so much as the depth of these two individuals desire to focus on the roles they play in making our world a better place. Now playing a part to help the Alzheimer's Association, Mary and Ted will be honorary chairs of Autumn Lights to benefit the Alzheimer's Association. Arkansas and area non-profits are fortunate to be the benefactor of their generosity.

Gala for Life

Under the chairmanship of Susan and Herren Hickingbotham, Gala for Life to benefit the Winthrop P. Rockerfeller Cancer Institute, raised over $1 million dollars for the world renowned facility located on the campus of University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Funds will be matched by the state.
