After more than three decades as contract jeweler, Eric Coleman decided he would pursue a dream. “I craved a relationship with the people behind the jewelry.” He realizes that every client is unique and special; jewelry should reflect that ideal. “I believe if you do what you love and share it with others; you’ll be a success.” 
Hillcrest Designer Jewelry opened in 2011 with this simple business philosophy and wealth of expertise. “I discovered rocks and minerals at an early age and that fascination continues to this day.” Eric received a rock tumbler as a gift and the rest is history. Hillcrest Designer Jewelry features classic gems and diamonds coupled with an extraordinary experience. What began as an art jewelry collection in a gallery atmosphere has evolved into a custom design business that dazzles + delights. “The first thing people seem to notice is, despite our small store, our inventory is outstanding.” He jokes, “And they often walk in to find me back at my work bench.” Most projects are managed by Cathy and completed by Eric. The shop boasts loose gemstones as well as exclusive designers – like The Brevani Collection. “We talk through the design process and customers can purchase the gemstones from us or bring their own.” Eric reimagines vintage into a beautiful new piece of jewelry that captivates the imagination. 
Eric notes the growing inventory available for sale. “Not every customer is interested in designing jewelry. We keep our selection special and available for quick sale.” The Brevani Collection, as seen on the Bachelorette, showcases the dashing diamonds that are in constant movement – capturing the light with magnificent brilliance. “Brevani is the perfect marriage of technology and craftsmanship,” Eric notes. “It’s been really popular and fits into our idea that jewelry can and should be a personal expression of happiness.”
