Howloween at Bark Bar – Eat, Drink & Be Scary!

Bark Bar’s fifth annual halloween bash takes place this Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. The event features a costume contest with prizes. Categories include: Best Overall, Best Duo (human + dog), Best Small Dog (under 25 lbs), Best Medium Dog (25-50 lbs) and Best Big Dog (50+ lbs). The first 25 guests will receive a complimentary wag bag. Scary movies will be playing as the kitchen serves up spooky specials all night long.

“My favorite thing about our annual Howloween Pawty is the creativity,” says Bark Bar owner Elizabeth Michael. “Dog parents really think long and hard about what costume best suits their furry family members. The duos are the best. My favorite over the years was when a couple went with a circus theme. They retrofitted a wagon to be a lion’s cage, with their dog inside as the lion. The owner was the lion tamer. They taught the dog to jump through a hula hoop taped with paper fire flames to make it look like the lion was jumping through a fire hoop. So creative.”

The “Barkansas” community looking to create new memories with their furry family members are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance, as this event typically sells out. Tickets are $5 per dog and $5 per human. Annual members get in for free. Humans must be 21 and dogs must be 4 months old.
