Each year, community leaders wear their dancing shoes for the coveted winning title that is earned at the Dancing with Our Stars Gala. All this fun and friendly competition benefits the Children’s Tumor Foundation and supports the Arkansas chapter’s research and mission: to end and find a cure for neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder that disturbs cell growth in the nervous system, causing tumors to form on nerve tissue.
Children’s Tumor Foundation also provides support for children and families affected by NF. A portion of gala proceeds will support the Adult NF Clinic Pilot Program. We’re putting each star in the spotlight and introducing them on our blog. They will compete at the Sept. 8 gala, in addition to soliciting contributions + votes prior to the event.

Raised in a pub in England, Nick’s parents kept his crib on the counter as they served drinks and food to their patrons. After graduating from Ardingly College Boarding School, Nick attended Huddersfield University, where he completed a degree in Hospitality Management.
His first job after university was to manage his own pub (which was built in 1425) for three years, and then he made a transition to the hotel industry. He worked in different management positions with the luxury hotel market, and met his gorgeous wife Amy while working at the Milestone Hotel in London.
After getting married in 2001, Nick and Amy decided to call the USA home. They now have two great boys and two dogs. Nick worked in different management positions across the states before calling Little Rock home in 2008, when he joined the Capital Hotel as the Director of Rooms. There he was best known for all the service touches and all the Christmas activities you’ve all come to love. He left the hotel during the pandemic, and now consults with Saracen Casino as they get ready to break ground on a hotel to join the fabulous casino. His hobbies include golf and cycling. He is thrilled to be part of this year’s Dancing with the Stars in support of the Children’s Tumor Foundation.
