Makeup Bag Must…”Medical grade sunscreen! My clients will tell you the words they hear from me the most is SUNSCREEN EVERY DAY! Nothing looks better in your 50’s than sunscreen in your 20’s. That is so true!” Colorscience available at Marina Lifestyle Medicine & Holistic Aesthetics

Living Well Wisdom…“Don’t forget that ordinary choices in life can lead to extraordinary results.  How we eat impacts how we feel and how we look. Limit food with simple sugars and processed fats. Eat plenty of vegetables, fruits and whole foods. Maintain good hydration and get plenty of sleep. It doesn’t matter what we do on occasion, it matters what we do every day. Create positive habits and stick to it!”

Secrets to looking + feeling fabulous… Prioritize health – to me it’s not a luxury, it’s a priority! | Focus on having 5 cups of vegetables and fruits a day. Fruits and vegetables like avocados, brussels sprouts, asparagus, and cauliflower are rich in antioxidants and phytonutrients and boost your immune system and promote every aspect of health. | With the latest research on fasting, my husband and I incorporate weekly 36 hour fasts. I use the Zero app to track it. | Get good quality sleep: 7 – 8 hours a night. I am still working on it. Scientists tell us poor quality sleep shortens your life, promotes Alzheimer’s disease, increases blood pressure, lowers your immune responses and negatively affects every aspect of your health. I use an Oura ring wearable to monitor my sleep. | Movement every day – my goal is 10,000 – 13,000 steps a day.
