Tremaine Pollydore, Maine Attraction by Tpollydesigns

Self-Described – Determined

Signature Product – Non – Gender Binary Kimonos

Business Inspiration – My business started out with only bow ties and lapel flowers. My friend, Stephen Salvage introduced me to the idea and led me to believe that I was able to do it. It wasn’t until last year, in preparation for DCfP 2019, that I started to make clothing such as kimono’s, pants, dresses, etc. I was inspired and am still inspired by many amazing designers such as my mentor and Bravo Tv’s Project Runway sensation, Korto Momolu.

Ty Jackson, Tidy & Ty

Self-Described – Resilience

Signature Product –  Kids Fashion

Business Inspiration – When Titus came to us at 8 months he came with only the clothes on his back. I have always believed that if you look good you feel good; I also knew that the world would treat him according to how I made him look so I had a huge responsibility! I believe that we can tell a story about our wardrobe…I wanted his story to read; I am loved,  I am wanted and I have a Mommy who wants to take care of me. When I opened my heart I began to walk in my passion. Out of my desire to present Titus to the world the best way I knew how…I created Tidy & T.
