Celebrating more than three decades of success, Holiday House heralds the holiday season and offers the best selection of unique gifts. Junior League of Little Rock will welcome  shoppers and patrons to the Statehouse Convention Center again this year for the shopping extravaganza. It boasts merchants from across the country, gifts to give + get and special events throughout the weekend. Proceeds support the organization’s mission fulfillment work: improving the lives of women and children in Central Arkansas. Each of these women share insight and anticipated highlights to make this the best year yet.

WHY HOLIDAY HOUSE

I wanted to give back to the community I now call home, strengthen my leadership skills and meet new people.

HOLIDAY HOUSE FAVORITES

While working my volunteer shifts during my new member year, I fell in love with Holiday House. I love seeing merchants return year after year. Seeing the show start from nothing but an idea to seeing everything come to life is pretty special.

HOLIDAY HOUSE 2023

The thing that I am most excited about is Ladies Night. We have partnered with Dillard’s for a fashion show that will not only feature amazing outfits from Dillard’s but also other merchants.

WHY HOLIDAY HOUSE

I joined JLLR to become better connected through finding my community of amazing women and giving back to the community at large.

HOLIDAY HOUSE FAVORITES

One of my favorite things to do during Holiday House is run into old friends. I end up connecting with friends from all over the state that I may not have seen in a while, and I love getting ahead on holiday shopping.

HOLIDAY HOUSE 2023

I am most looking forward to enjoying our special events, especially our new Jingle Bell Brunch.

WHY HOLIDAY HOUSE

Growing up in Little Rock, I had always heard of the JLLR and the impact that it makes in the community. I joined to become a part of that; I wanted to help give back to a place I love so much and become a part of an organization that helps make female leaders.

HOLIDAY HOUSE FAVORITES

I remember going to Holiday House with my mom and grandmother as a little girl, so this weekend is extra special for me! Not only do I love to shop at the event, but I love knowing that Holiday House helps raise money to support various community projects that are funded by the JLLR!

HOLIDAY HOUSE 2023

I’m excited about Ladies Night: Tinsel & Tacos. We have some very exciting things planned, including a fashion show, sponsored by Dillard’s. Grab your girlfriends and come join the fun!

WHY HOLIDAY HOUSE

I had just moved to Little Rock after law school and wanted to be involved in something. I had heard about JLLR when I was younger and had been exposed to the Junior League when I lived in Jackson. I thought JLLR would be a great place to meet new people and be able to give back to my community.

HOLIDAY HOUSE FAVORITES

I love Preview Party, it’s so exciting when the doors open for the first time. There is an energy it brings that can’t be explained.

HOLIDAY HOUSE 2023

I’m so excited to shop some of my favorite merchants, see my holiday house friends, and enjoy the fun events. I’m especially excited about the brunch this year. I’m a big fan of brunch, so I can’t wait to combine that with Holiday House.

WHY HOLIDAY HOUSE

I joined JLLR to network, but once I was placed with Holiday House, I became so personally invested in the project that I stayed on committee and never left. It became so apparent why Holiday House and the community projects it helps fund is so vital to our community. There is such an intense workload behind the scenes, and I’ve been grateful for the opportunity to channel my skill sets to both fill gaps and support the amazing women tirelessly working on Holiday House year-round.

HOLIDAY HOUSE FAVORITES

One of the perks of being at the show from beginning to end is that you also get to be the first to watch the merchandise hit the shelves, and I think we have all unofficially started a tradition of “ooh, I’m going to be back for that.” Our vendors have some beautiful stuff! They also tend to deck their booths out and make
them as festive as possible. Holiday House has always felt like the official start of the season.

HOLIDAY HOUSE 2023

We have a new artisan booth option this year focusing on local, homemade goods. I gravitate towards items like that for my own home, so I can’t wait to see these new vendors shine.
