Home for the Holidays

Decor by Ari Crum

Brandy and Richard Harp welcome friends and family for festive gatherings throughout the year. They believe it is people that make the seasonal celebrations so memorable. This décor and good cheer evoke anticipation that something special is sure to ensue. The family is quite sentimental and embraces the nostalgia of Christmas with traditions that endure. “We’ve celebrated around our dining room table all of our married life,” Brandy elaborates. “It represents fond memories of many meals with loved ones that mean everything to us.”

The home is transformed into a winter wonderland that blends family heirlooms, like the napkin rings, with contemporary elements. Richard’s love of nature is reflected with the rustic charm of pinecones and berries, creating undeniable authenticity. “For us, Christmas morning is the most special time – just us with the kids and two Yorkshire terriers,” Brandy adds. “Then, we travel to our family farm where the kids play all day in the fields and we rough it,  it makes our holidays special.  It’s a wonderful time of the year to give thanks for everything that we have and the people in our lives.”
