Junior League of Little Rock Recruitment

Junior League of Little Rock Members Meagan Davis Lofton and Tracey Bradley Simmons are among the 1,000 Junior League of Little Rock members that collaborate to advance the well-being of women and children in Central Arkansas. Since its inception in 1922, the Junior League of Little Rock has trained women leaders to understand the community’s needs, envision ways to improve the lives of others and advocate for positive change. Members gain valuable skills and experiences that enable you to reach your potential as a leader in our community. Meagan and Tracey share their experiences.

“I joined the league to meet women outside of my profession and find volunteer opportunities. I didn’t know exactly what to expect, but what I’ve gained over the last four years is far beyond what I imagined. I’ve had the opportunity to lead, to serve, and to grow both personally and professionally. If you’re interested in leadership, JLLR will give you the opportunity to lead. If you’re interested in learning a new skill, JLLR will empower you to succeed. If you’re interested in meeting new people, JLLR will introduce you to a network of strong women doing amazing things in our community. If you’re interested in growing, join JLLR,” Meagan Davis Lofton

“In 2016, I was looking for a way to get involved in my community and learn from an organization that functions well, trains leaders, and elevates women. Junior League of Little Rock fit the bill! Since joining JLLR, I have gained a network of friends and supporters along with the tools needed to function successfully in the nonprofit arena. The League’s Nonprofit Board Institute helped to cultivate my passion for nonprofit work. Thanks to resources within the league, I’m preparing to give back to my community in a much bigger way,” Tracey Bradley-Simmons.

Any woman age 23 or older who demonstrates an interest in and commitment to voluntarism, regardless of race, religion, or national or ethnic origin may join the 2021-2022 New Member class.
