Mosaic Templars Cultural Center Grand Opening

This weekend, the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center will welcome friends and supporters to the grand opening of the reimagined musuem in conjunction with the Mosaic Templars Culture Center’s annual holiday open house. The ceremony will include remarks from Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott, Jr., Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage & Tourism Secretary Shea Lewis, Historian John Graves and other key constituents. Additional highlights include a special appearance by Ol’ Saint Nick, sweet potato pie samples courtesy of our “Say it Ain’t Say’s” Sweet Potato Pie Contest Winner Candice Bailey and a very special holiday punch as well as  tours of the new permanent gallery! This event is free and open to the public.

As the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center celebrates its 15th anniversary, it also recognizes 140 years of the Mosaic Templars of America. The Mosaic Templars of America was a Black organization founded in 1883 in Little Rock.
