Party at the Plaza – Compass Award Honoree Dee Brazil-Dale

This year, the Arkansas Hospice Foundation will award the second annual Michael V. Aureli Compass Award to Dee Brazil-Dale, co-founder and advocate of Arkansas Hospice and its mission. The award is named for Dee’s fellow co-founder Michael Aureli, who died in 2011 as a patient in the organization’s care and will be presented at Party at the Plaza.

As an Arkansas Hospice co-founder and the first director of the Arkansas Hospice Foundation, Dee embodies the true nature of a hospice heart, and her involvement has resulted in furthering the success of our important work. While Dee retired in 2006, she has been a constant compass for compassion for Arkansas Hospice, its patients and families during the nonprofit organization’s 31-year history.

Dee will be recognized with a special video presentation at Party at the Plaza at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, at the Argenta Plaza in North Little Rock.

Those wanting to join Dee in supporting the mission of Arkansas Hospice can become a “Friend of Dee” for a $100 donation in her honor. All “Friends of Dee” will be recognized on the Arkansas Hospice Foundation’s website, social media posts and e-newsletter.

Party at the Plaza is produced by the Arkansas Hospice Foundation with proceeds benefiting the mission of Arkansas Hospice, the state’s largest nonprofit provider of hospice care.
