Plants with a Purpose: ACCESS Gardens Plant Sale

Spring has sprung in the ACCESS® Gardens!

Check out the beautiful flowers and plants ACCESS students and young adults have been growing.

April 10 – May 29 | Mondays – Saturdays | 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

Proceeds from the plant sales directly benefit ACCESS and help expand programs and services offered to individuals throughout Arkansas. With each purchase, it’s more than just nurturing + growing plants – it’s giving children and young adults with special needs the opportunity to thrive and reach individual potential. A perfect example is ACCESS Gardens. This horticulture program enables ACCESS students to apply classroom curriculum and practice vocational skills, while individuals in our adult programs are able to learn vocational skills while enjoying independence and a sense of purpose. The ACCESS semi-annual plant sales are a reflection of our students’ and adults’ hard work and serve as a perfect metaphor for “individual potential in full bloom.” Also, Don’s Tea – the powerful, popular and all-natural fertilizer – will be for sale at $5 per gallon.

Varieties include: Angelonia, Begonias, Bougainvillea, Butterfly Bush, Caladium, Camas, Christmas Cactus, Coleus, Coneflower, Coral Bells, Coreopsis, Crape Myrtle, Daylilies, Dichondra, Elephant Ears, Gardenia, Geranium, Gerber Daisy, Goldilocks, Guara, Hosta, Hibiscus, Hydrangea, Ivy, Japanese Painted Fern, Lantana, Lavender, Lime Mound, Mother of Millions, Night Blooming Cereus, Pentas, Phlox, Rosemary, Roses, Setcreasea, Spikes, Spirea, Succulents, Sweet Alyssum, Sweet William, Verbena and more!
