Why try Taste of Little Rock?

“We are big foodies and love being connected to the local restaurant scene and its unique culture. Taste of Little Rock is the ultimate sampling of so much creative cuisine, which is what I prefer!

It brings together my favorite things – local restaurants, the chance to engage in fellowship and raising money for the bright young people of Arkansas! The UA Little Rock scholarships it supports is the most important to me. I received a scholarship to attend UA Little Rock and it changed my trajectory. Being part of this project that allows me to give back is icing on the cake.

At UA Little Rock, culture starts from the top. I have such deep respect and admiration for Chancellor Christina S. Drale – she is a phenomenal person and I love being connected to her vision. In addition, the positive culture permeates throughout the leadership- they are focused, kind, compassionate people who care deeply about our state not just UA Little Rock. That shows in everything they do.”

Affordable and relevant, a great metropolitan university is critical to the infrastructure of a vibrant city. It also requires a strong alumni association that’s engaged in civic and business leadership throughout the Capital City. UA Little Rock boasts both – with a shared vision for the future. As UA Little Rock celebrates the success of its alumni, the university and alumni reflect on the role the institution plays in the continued economic development of Central Arkansas and the wealth of knowledge is offer current students.
