Why UA Little Rock?

I chose to attend UA Little Rock to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher and for several other reasons. Little Rock is my home, and its proximity allowed me to stay connected to family and friends while continuing my education. Affordability was also a significant consideration when choosing a college. Additionally, my brother frequently shared his positive experiences as a UA Little Rock student. His involvement in campus life and being a Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity member particularly piqued my interest. As a result, I also became a Pi Kappa Alpha member as a freshman.

My time at UA Little Rock has allowed me to reach several professional goals. As an educator, a third-generation Trojan and a proud lifetime member of the UA Little Rock Alumni Association, I credit my professors, mentors and the UA Little Rock family with providing the foundation needed to build and successfully sustain relationships with students, parents and colleagues within our community. I am privileged to have an opportunity to serve students in the Little Rock area as an educator within the eStem public school system. While continuing to inspire future generations of students and pursuing educational leadership roles, I am currently building on my professional practices by pursuing a Doctorate in Education.
