UPLIFT ARKANSAS: Support Heights/Hillcrest Restaurants

Now that we’re a few weeks into social distancing and it feels like we’ve cooked every recipe we know at least twice, it’s only natural to miss all of the incredible restaurants that make Little Rock so special. Tonight’s the perfect night to put away your pots and pans and rekindle the magic of a night out in Little Rock. Here are some of our go-to spots in Midtown that are open for carryout and curbside pick-up!

Zaza Fine Salad + Wood-Oven Pizza Co Looking for something a little lighter after eating one too many loaves of homemade bread? Then hunt down one of Zaza’s famous salads or pick up a pizza to feed the whole family. Instagram: @zazapizza

Heights Taco & Tamale We’re not saying that we only go there for the cocktails…but they are practically required drinking during a visit. Be sure to pick up some of their make-at-home cocktail kits when you grab your to-go orders. Instagram: @heightstaco

The Fold: Botanas & Bar The Fold has the entire family in mind with their carryout, family-style meals. Choose from build-your-own tacos, chicken enchiladas, tamales, a salad and chips and dip. Instagram: @littlerocktaco

The Faded Rose Did your Spring Break trip to New Orleans get cancelled? Then you’re in luck, because The Faded Rose is serving up the best of the Crescent City for takeout and curbside pickup.

The Pizzeria What comes with an appetizer, salad, two classical Neapolitan-style pizzas and dessert? Why it’s the $45 Family Meal from The Pizzeria, and it sounds like a winner to us! Photography by Dero Sanford

Trio’s Not even a global pandemic could keep this Little Rock culinary landmark down. Their full menu as well as larger family packs are available to order via the Trio’s website.  Whatever you choose, don’t forget to get the Peck’s salad and that famous strawberry shortcake. La Terraza Rum & Lounge We’re still bummed that we can’t enjoy spring on one of Little Rock’s best patios, but at least we can still get a to-go pitcher of La Terraza’s famous mojitos (add your own alcohol, of course).  Throw in an order of their Venezuelan Arepas and you’ve got everything you need for a fantastic meal. Ciao Baci We may still not be able to enjoy one of the coziest dining rooms in Little Rock, but the food is just as good from the comfort of your own home. With favorites like the People’s Choice Burger and the Wye Mountain Mushroom Risotto, you’ll be saying “ciao” to Baci again and again. Instagram: @caio_baci

Le Pops Who said dinner couldn’t start with dessert? Le Pops and their rainbow of frozen flavors is a Little Rock staple and we’ve already had our fair share of tasty treats this spring.
