Day at Work…I work closely with our leadership team to ensure our fundraising efforts align with CARTI’s mission and vision to make trusted cancer care accessible for every patient we serve through compassion, innovation and purpose. It’s incredibly rewarding to play a role in projects and programs that help those fighting cancer.
Career Evolution…I moved here with my husband, a Little Rock native, and fell into fundraising. I am a people person, so this field is a natural fit for me, and it was a wonderful way to get to know our community. I found my true passion in healthcare philanthropy and have seen firsthand the impact our state’s generosity has on cancer patients and their families.
Beginning Interests…I began my career in the hotel industry, and those experiences and skills translated directly into fundraising and special events. I have been in healthcare development for more than two decades and have benefitted from amazing leaders and mentors.
Love the Work…I love the wonderful relationships I forge with our patients, donors and community partners. Along with the wonderful team at CARTI, I am tremendously blessed to be able to help make a difference for those battling cancer.
Advice…Lean into opportunity… Opportunity leads to growth – professionally and personally – that is transformative. Believe in what you are doing and commit to excellence. This will inspire and sustain you during challenging times, and reward you with success and fulfillment.
