AMFA: Concert Series: Brian Blade & The Fellowship Band

In 1997, multiple Grammy award-winning drummer and composer Brian Blade formed The Fellowship Band with pianist and composer Jon Cowherd.
Over the 25 years that the band has existed, they have released seven critically-acclaimed recordings beginning with their debut album Fellowship in 1998, followed by Perceptual in 2000, Season of Changes in 2008, Landmarks in 2014, Body And Shadow in 2017, Live From The Archives in 2021 and Kings Highway in 2022.
For this special performance at AMFA, performers will include Brian Blade (drums), Jon Cowherd (piano), Melvin Butler (tenor and soprano saxophone), Myron Walden (alto and bass clarinet), and Roland Guerin (bass).
