BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF CENTRAL AR: Leader of the Year Luncheon

BOYS & GIRLS CLUB of Central Arkansas ANNOUNCES THEIR 2023 LEADER OF
THE YEAR – HUNTER YURCHECK, University of Arkansas Athletic Director

University of Arkansas Athletic Director Hunter Yurachek will accept the honor of Boys & Girls Club of Central Arkansas Leader of the Year at a luncheon event Wednesday, October 18, 11:30 am, at
the Clinton Presidential Center.

Presented by First Horizon Bank, this year the event has changed from an evening event to a luncheon and is getting a favorable response to the time and location at the Clinton Presidential Center. VIP sponsors will be included in a private reception with Yurachek prior to the luncheon. Space is limited and we expect the event to sell out this year. Sponsorships and table are available online or by contacting the Boys & Girls Club of Central Arkansas.

“The athletic program at the University of Arkansas gives many of our Club kids something to aspire to,”
said Cindy Doramus, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Central Arkansas. Some of the U of A athletes had hard beginnings similar to some of our youth here in the clubs. We teach our kids to have goals, how to work towards them, stay focused, and believe anything is possible with hard work and dedication. We are thrilled to have Hunter Yurachek come and accept this honor at our annual Fundraising event. It is critical to our year so we can provide the Clubs all that we do.”

100% of the proceeds from the event will go to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of central Arkansas, serving over 7,000 youth at five clubs – four in Little Rock and one in North Little Rock. At over 100 years in existence, the organization is the 8th oldest Boys and Girls Club in the United States and has produced more national youth of the year winners than any other club.
