CAT FANCIERS’ ASSOC: New Cats in the Rock Cat Show

CAT SHOW RETURNS TO LITTLE ROCK WITH THE ARKANSAS FELINE FANCIERS

LITTLE ROCK, AR. – The Cat Fanciers’ Association (CFA) returns to Little Rock with the Arkansas Feline Fanciers Club for its 2nd Annual All-Breed Cat Show, NEW CATS IN THE ROCK, at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds Hall of Industry February 18, 2023 following the successful return of cat show production to Little Rock last year.

Founded in 1906, the Cat Fanciers’ Association, Inc., is the world’s largest registry of pedigreed cats whose mission is to promote the welfare and betterment of all cats and to promote the interests of breeders and exhibitors of pedigreed cats.

This month’s cat show competition will feature six judging rings for pedigreed cats representing over 40 breeds along with household pets – judged on health and appearance – by CFA All-Breed Judges from across the United States. Cats can compete in four different divisions including Championship (breeding cats), Premiership (for spayed and neutered pedigreed cats), Kittens (pedigreed cats 4-8 months old), and Household Pets (mixed breeds and companion cats).

As an active member of the Arkansas Feline Fanciers Club, local cat exhibitor and enthusiast Kate Sain is actively involved in the Cat Fanciers’ Association and has been working hard to bring cat show production back to The Natural State after a 19-year hiatus prior to last year’s shows.

Not only will February’s show feature pedigreed cats being judged for breed confirmation and titles, but there will be vendors selling fabulous items of all types for cats and their people along with a Feline Agility Competition and Cat Costume Contest as well as the feline rescue organization Community Cats of Central Arkansas on-site with many wonderful kitties looking to be adopted into their forever homes!

NEW CATS IN THE ROCK will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023, in The Hall of Industry at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds. Entry is $12 for Adults, $10 for Seniors, $8 for Children Ages 5-12, or $25 for a Family 4-Pack that includes a minimum of 2 children. The show hall will be open to spectators from 9:00am – 5:00pm.
