Derby Day Party

Formerly known as the Seersucker Social, this event celebrates the quintessential Southern summertime attire and now the Kentucky Derby race as well (viewed via telecast). Hosted by the Arkansas State House Society and held on the lawn of the Old State House, guests can enjoy food from Brewski’s Pub and Grub, specialty drinks like the mint julep, locally made whiskey from Rock Town Distillery and craft beer from Lost Forty. Proceeds from the event benefit the museum’s educational outreach efforts, including the School Bus Fund that brings Arkansas’s K-12 students to the Old State House.
