History is Served: Arkansas Foodways Dinner Series

The theme of this dinner, held at the Historic Arkansas Museum, is Colonial Arkansas and will explore the history, cultural influence and cuisine of French and Spanish colonists. A four-course dinner will be prepared by Chef Mary Beth Ringgold, the executive chef of Cajun’s Wharf, Capers and Copper Grill. Taking inspiration from colonial food traditions, Ringgold will focus on preparing a modern interpretation on a meal while keeping an authenticity that reflects the time period. The “Arkansas Foodways Dinner Series” is made possible by the series’ sponsor, Ben E. Keith Foods Mid-South, and the Historic Arkansas Museum Foundation.
