Inaugural Oscar Washington Jr. Scholarship Banquet

The Oscar Washington, Jr. Educational Fund (OWJEF) is hosting its first scholarship banquet at the St. Mark Children & Youth Center (5722 West 12th Street) and will award college-bound high school seniors $1,000 scholarships based on academic achievement, financial need and volunteer community service. Net proceeds raised from the banquet go directly to the Arkansas Community Foundation and will be administered through the Oscar Washington, Jr. Foundation.
