Little Rock Public Radio to Celebrate 50th Anniversary
Little Rock Public Radio will hold a special celebration on Dec. 7 to celebrate 50 remarkable years of providing public radio news, entertainment, and programming to the central Arkansas community.
The 50th anniversary celebration will begin at 4 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre, 601 Main St., Little Rock.
“As we mark our 50th Anniversary of bringing public radio to central Arkansas, you’re invited to join us for a spectacular celebration on Thursday, December 7, at The Repertory Theatre,” said Jonathan Seaborn, general manager of Little Rock Public Radio. “This momentous occasion will feature national partners joining us right here in Little Rock. Your presence is the most cherished gift, and your generosity helps bring the magic of public radio to all.”
The event promises an unforgettable evening with the premier of NPR Code Switch live at 6 p.m., a captivating silent auction, live music, local poets, and the opportunity to meet NPR hosts. This celebration is a testament to the impact of public radio in the Arkansas community and its enduring mission to inform, inspire, and connect.
