Nonprofit Board Institute

The Junior League of Little Rock presents the Fourth Annual Nonprofit Board Institute. Institute dates are every Tuesday in September beginning September 5th and culminating October 3rd with a graduation (September 5, 12, 19, 26 and October 3). Sessions will be held from 5:30-8 pm at the Junior League building.

All men and women who are interested in serving as a nonprofit board member are invited to register for the NPBI. The training focus will be on developing leaders for the nonprofit sector through education on areas of board service. Sessions will be led by area experts familiar with the nonprofit sector and nonprofit board leadership. Registration is open to anyone interested in learning about the role of a board member in nonprofit organizations, from veterans of board service to the newly interested. Topics this year include “board basics”, marketing, finance & fundraising and volunteer management.

Registration opens August 1 at jllr.org/npbi.
