The 2020 Gadberry Award recognizes Sharon Heflin, whose vision, dedication, time and talents make Central Arkansas a stronger and more vibrant community. She serves on countless boards and has made an impact on so many worthy organizations working to build a better community.

Live entertainment includes Broadway star, Analisa Leaming. She has performed on Broadway as Anna in The King and I, as well as the 2017 revival and national tour of Hello, Dolly!. Other credits include On the 20th Century and School of Rock on Broadway, several Off-Broadway productions, and concerts at Carnegie Hall, New York City Center, and for Germany’s Kurt Weill Festival.

Proceeds from the Charlotte Gadberry Award Presentation support ACANSA’s Free Spring Break Arts Camps. During one week each spring when classes are not in session at most schools, ACANSA partners with local artists and arts organizations to provide invigorating arts activities that keep bodies moving and brains engaged. These camps are free for the youth in our community and help to foster creativity in our children and thus make our community a stronger and more vibrant place to live.
