There’s an undeniable vibe at The Fold: Botanas & Bar. It’s unique + fabulous, and it comes from the heart. “Little Rock is a great community. We want to complement and encourage the accessible, inclusive nature of our friends and fans,” The Fold: Botanas & Bar Owner Bart Barlogie explains. His love for niche dining and cocktails inspired The Fold and later, Raduno Brick Oven & Barroom, in SOMA. Bart jokes, “The rest is history…”
The music and décor at both restaurants is unique and eclectic. “We want everyone to feel welcome and know it’s a fun space for happy hour, date night or an outing with the kids,” Bart explains. “Beyond the design element, our staff – many have been with us for years – makes for a very fun and inviting atmosphere. We’ve enjoyed watching the relationships between our team and customers evolve over the years.”
With nearly a decade of patronage, the pandemic hit and his team at The Fold and Raduno quickly evolved marketing + services to meet the needs < and appetites > of concerned patrons. “Everyone in the restaurant industry had to figure out ways to make it. We found new ways to sell our food and drinks while still being as safe as possible,” Bart recalls. “It was also a big reminder of just how lucky we are to have such amazing friends and supporters.”
Dining was reimagined… The Raduno Easter Bunny made home deliveries and the drink menu offered creative + delightful to-go offerings. The Fold outdoor dining expanded to accommodate safety precautions, but the vibe remains the same. “The colors, the music and décor set the tone for a fun time!” Bart realizes it the power of community that fuels his businesses. “I want to continue to be a part of the positive change in Little Rock.”
