A fitting climax to Ballet Arkansas’ most successful season to date, Ballet Arkansas in Concert takes the stage May 4-6th at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre.
Presented by the Stella Boyle Smith Trust, this collaboration between acclaimed international pianist Dr. Drew Mays and the brilliant artists of Ballet Arkansas will feature two works by Tony Award winning choreographers, a world premiere by Artistic Director, Michael Fothergill, and a solo virtuoso piano concert.
Love music?
Beethoven. Debussy. Chopin. Schubert. Schumann. Scriabin. Liszt. Each of the weekend’s three performances will feature accompaniment and a solo concert by Dr. Mays, with a uniquely different playlist for each performance.
Love dance?
De Mille. Wheeldon. Fothergill. See a rarely performed American Masterpiece, a critically acclaimed pas de deux, and an abstract premiere.
