LITTLE ROCK: Tour de Rock

CARTI will host the 18th Annual Tour de Rock cycling race on Saturday, August 14. Riders can choose from one of four pancake-flat routes – 25, 50, 62 and 100 miles – through central Arkansas. Funds raised benefit the statewide cancer care provider’s patient assistance programs that offer transportation and lodging, emotional counseling and nutritional support for patients receiving cancer treatment at one of CARTI’s 19 locations. The race will begin and end at the intersection of Riverfront Drive and Brother Paul Drive in North Little Rock, and an After Party will immediately follow at Heifer International, 1 World Avenue, Little Rock. Registration opens at 6 a.m. and the first cycling group will depart at 6:30 a.m.
