A Gratitude Gathering

A Feel-Good Fundraiser to Start the Season of Thanksgiving

“Appreciation is a wonderful thing. It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well.”  – Voltaire

Simmons Bank presents A Gratitude Gathering for Habitat for Humanity of Central Arkansas on Tuesday, November 16 at 11:30 am at the Capital Hotel in Little Rock. The event begins with a mimosa “meet and greet” from 11:30 am –12 pm in the hotel lobby, followed by a luncheon in the main ballroom from 12 – 1 pm.

The program, a feel-good way to ring in the season of Thanksgiving, will remember and celebrate Ms. Ellen Gray, a former Habitat board member, volunteer and donor. Among the many other entities Gray impacted are Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, UA Little Rock, Christ Episcopal Church, Museum of Discovery, Arkansas Women’s Foundation, Little Rock’s Sister Cities Commission and Little Rock’s Housing Authority. Guests will hear from a Habitat homebuyer who purchased his home when Gray was president and has since paid it off, and from a new Habitat homebuyer who has already realized the impact of Habitat homeownership. If you’ve always wanted to know more about Habitat, please attend. If you want to honor Ms. Gray’s legacy, please attend.
