Each year, community leaders wear their dancing shoes for the coveted winning title that is earned at the Dancing with Our Stars Gala. All this fun and friendly competition benefits the Children’s Tumor Foundation and supports the Arkansas chapter’s research and mission: to end and find a cure for neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder that disturbs cell growth in the nervous system, causing tumors to form on nerve tissue.
Children’s Tumor Foundation also provides support for children and families affected by NF. A portion of gala proceeds will support the Adult NF Clinic Pilot Program. We’re putting each star in the spotlight and introducing them on our blog. They will compete at the Thursday, September 7 gala, in addition to soliciting contributions + votes prior to the event.
Luke O’Gary – Keet O’Gary Construction, Owner

Luke O’Gary, a native of Chisago City, Minnesota, moved to Little Rock in the fall of 2010. Following his father’s footsteps in the construction industry, 10 years ago on December 5th, 2013, Keet O’Gary Construction was formed. Today, the company is well-established within the Little Rock Communities and continues to expand. Luke has the blessing of working with his family every day. He shares, “Every employee and their family, is our family. That will never change.”
Luke attended Dancing with the Stars last year, 2022 and fell in love with the people, the Foundation, and what it stands for. Knowing the number of individuals Children’s Tumor Foundation reaches throughout Arkansas Luke jokes, “I pray I don’t get stage fright and forget my routine when the song starts!” He is honored to be part of the event this year and his family will be lifelong supporters.
Luke is an outdoorsman, known to some around here as the “Lumber Jack” of Little Rock. He played hockey until the age of 23 and you will catch him every now and then playing in a pickup game at the Skatium. Ice fishing, snowmobiling, snow skiing, hunting, and building Harley Davidsons are what he loves to do when he has free time. Luke currently lives in Little Rock with his fiancé Kim and their children: Michael, Matthew, Alexandra, Ellie, Joseph, Owen, and Jack.
