Junior League of Little Rock Celebrates 30 Years of Holiday House

Junior League of Little Rock Celebrates 30th Annual Holiday House, presented by Simmons Bank

Holiday House, a shopping event hosted by Junior League of Little Rock and presented by Simmons Bank, will be held November 10-13 at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock. JLLR is the recipient of a generous matching sponsorship from Simmons Bank. For every $1 raised, Simmons will match dollar for dollar up to $15,000, to total $30,000 in honor of the 30th Anniversary of Holiday House. Donations can be made at jllr.org/donate

“We are very excited to help kick-off the shopping season with our 30th annual Holiday House event,” says Holiday House Chair Keri Richmond. “After a tough year for our community, we are excited to celebrate the 30th year of Holiday House safely. By shopping at Holiday House, you’re shopping for a cause. Holiday House provides significant funding for the League’s community programs in areas such as promoting children’s literacy, hosting community vaccine clinics and serving youth with developmental needs.”

Since 1990, Holiday House has collectively raised over $5 million for JLLR’s community service projects including Stuff the Bus, Kota Camp, Little Readers Rock, Nonprofit Board Institute and Boosters & Big Rigs. The event generates more than 50 percent of all funding for the League’s community projects. Holiday House is the largest holiday shopping event in central Arkansas and hosts nearly 200 merchants and more than 14,000 shoppers each year.

After missing 2020 Holiday House due to COVID-19, the same fun shopping event is back with enhanced safety procedures in place. We will be following all local guidelines along with directives from the Arkansas Department of Health. More space between merchants, timed ticket entry with three-hour shopping windows to allow for more social distancing, masks and hand sanitizer stations will all be in place.

In addition to general shopping, Holiday House offers five ticketed events which include the following:
