Why UA Little Rock?

“I received the Chancellor’s Leadership Scholarship and decided it was a great opportunity to receive an excellent education while being close to family and work.

Being a part of the Chancellor’s Leadership Program created a strong network of local professionals from various backgrounds studying a wide range of fields. It also gave me an opportunity to be in student government life on campus, which kept me involved in the programs going on around campus. I still appreciate the relationships that were built during my four years at UA Little Rock.

I received a strong educational foundation that has allowed me to work in and explore various fields of business with confidence. The friendships and relationships made during my college career continue to be important in my personal and professional life today.”

Affordable and relevant, a great metropolitan university is critical to the infrastructure of a vibrant city. It also requires a strong alumni association that’s engaged in civic and business leadership throughout the Capital City. UA Little Rock boasts both – with a shared vision for the future. As UA Little Rock celebrates the success of its alumni, the university and alumni reflect on the role the institution plays in the continued economic development of Central Arkansas and the wealth of knowledge is offer current students.
