UA Little Rock Leader – Nancy Secen

Why UA Little Rock?

When I decided to get my MBA, UA Little Rock offered an executive MBA program. A friend graduated from the program and I decided it would be a good fit for me as well. The program was well designed, comprehensive and it allowed me to attain my degree in less than two years while working full time.

The education I received at UA Little Rock expanded my business knowledge and allowed me to be more adaptable, creative and successful in the variety of roles. Now that I am retired, I find the knowledge is still very useful as I volunteer helping organizations and individuals. The education I received has made me very passionate about supporting UA Little Rock. I volunteered with the Alumni Board of Directors to support student scholarships and now volunteer with the Leadership Council of the UA Little Rock Donaghey College of Science, Technology, Engineering & Math. It is exciting to see the changes and progress the school has made since I graduated!

Affordable and relevant, a great metropolitan university is critical to the infrastructure of a vibrant city. It also requires a strong alumni association that’s engaged in civic and business leadership throughout the Capital City. UA Little Rock boasts both – with a shared vision for the future. As UA Little Rock celebrates the success of its alumni, the university and alumni reflect on the role the institution plays in the continued economic development of Central Arkansas and the wealth of knowledge is offer current students.
